All WordPress-focused events in Vienna (meetups and conferences) are voluntarily organized and attended by community members.

To get involved with the community you can join us at our monthly meetups and annual conferences, listed below. We always strive to create a pleasant atmosphere, filled with useful information, but keep in mind that all of us are simply members of the community, just like you. If you have something in mind, or you think that we need to approach a certain topic differently, you can always reach out to us, online or in person.

We hold a meetup each month, typically at CodeFactory (next to Kettenbrückengasse U4). Every meetup includes a talk or two, and some time to socialize.

WordCamp Vienna

WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that should be attended by everyone who uses WordPress, and everyone who could/should use WordPress. This includes bloggers, designers, developers, authors, marketers, SEOs, businesses, startups, non-profits, consultants, entrepreneurs, etc.

There has been a WordCamp in Vienna each year since 2015.

Slack

To keep in contact between the face-to-face meetings at our monthly meetups and WordCamp Vienna we use the real-time chat platform Slack, just like the global WordPress community. You can find instructions how to join here.
